After just a few short weeks at Healing Manor Hotel, not only have we’ve rejigged the kitchen, launched a new uniform and loaded up the bar with Jamie Loring’s favourite gins, we’ve just launched a new menu in The Pig & Whistle, Healing’s one and only pub.
The new menu at the Pig & Whistle, Healing Manor is packed full of a wide variety of dishes, which all make the most of the delicious, fresh and seasonal ingredients we have on our door step here in Grimsby and Lincolnshire.
Some of our favourite dishes from the new menu include;
Scotch Egg with apple purée, pickled red cabbage and Coven Garden beetroot.
Broccoli & Cote Hill Blue Soup with toasted almonds and bread
Pork Belly, Shoulder & Cheek with cider potatoes, caramelised onion and pork quaver
Oscar Cleve’s Beer Battered or Grilled Haddock with chips, garden or mushy peas, tartar sauce and charred lemon
Rump of Lamb with cauliflower, courgette and rosemary straw potatoes.
Steak Burger with Lincolnshire Poacher, heritage tomato, lettuce, gherkin, truffle and garlic mayonnaise, served with onion rings and a choice of sweet potato fries or dripping chips.
Healing Manor Hotel is Grimsby’s premier hotel and wedding venue, with a stunning 32 acres of landscaped gardens and 36 bedrooms. For those looking for the perfect backdrop to your big day, we have the Barn or Cadogan suite. Whilst The Pig & Whistle is open 7 days a week, we’re also serving Afternoon Tea in our restaurant, The Portman.
The Portman is currently closed during the evenings and will be relaunching in the new year, brining a new food adventure to Grimsby and Lincolnshire.
In the meantime, to book your table in The Pig & Whistle or for Afternoon Tea with views over the grounds at Healing Manor, drop us an email via firstname.lastname@example.org or telephone (01472) 884544
